The SAST AdminTrack module provides a feature that enables administrators in normal operation to work without any extended rights or even SAP_ALL. In a support situation, the defined administrators or support users simply need to enable a given emergency ID by clicking it. After describing what they are they planning to do, they can then proceed using this ID. Once the maintenance work is finished, SAST records all of the user activities during the support session and supplies an auditor with a corresponding report online or by e-mail. 

SAST also has an automatic feature that registers all log-ons of special user IDs, such as SAP*, Earlywatch and DDIC, and keeps a log of all reports and transactions accessed. Statutory control requirements are thus fully met.
